Located in Eagle Grove, this small bridge crosses Ditch #15 near 9th Street and Iowa Highway 17.
Built in approximately 1902 as an I-Beam bridge on steel stringers, these beams were likely encased in concrete around 1920. Concrete encased beam spans were popular as they provided proper drainage without the maintenance of an open deck.
Currently, the bridge is operated by Union Pacific. Unfortunately, no information can be found on this bridge.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in good condition, with little major deterioration.

The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
